He was predeceased by: his father Lewis Barger Barksdale; his siblings, Leslie Ann Barksdale and Gary Lewis Barksdale; and his son Damon Lewis Barksdale. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patti" Barksdale of Philpot; his uncle William Spurrier of Seal Beach, CA; his children, Iain Barksdale (Melissa) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Cherokee Parker (Aaron) of Philpot and Shiloh Barksdale (Ashley) of Beaver Dam; and his grandchildren, Tommy, Kaitlyn, Emmaline, Sarah, Rowan, Declan, Travis, Ephraim, Blythe, Eden, Gwyneth, Calum and Haven. He is also survived by family, many nieces, nephews, siblings.
