He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Oost and Norma Oost; his wife Margaret Oost; his son Steven Earl Oost; his son-in-law Allen Clark; and his siblings, Juanita Leathem and Luther Oost.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Oost (Vickie), Scott Oost (Cynthia), Pat Clark and Shannon Nofsinger (Stephen). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
