He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest "Shorty" Allen Carraway and Mary Gertrude "Trudy" Carraway (Johnson); his brother Roger Dale Carraway (Rose); his siblings-in-law, Andrea Price and Rev. Ronald Payne; his nephews, Dale Payne and Axel Matthew Carraway; his niece Debra Lynn Payne; and his friends, Brenda Jones and Bobby Layne.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jackie Price (Ann), Patsy Payne (Ronnie) and Rosa "Tootsie" Johnson (Bobby). He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews, 31 great-nieces and nephews, one great-great niece, and one great-great nephew.
