She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Duke and Opal Duke; her husband Jim Shephard; her children, Ann Eison of Owensboro and Scott Shephard (Denise) of Birmingham, Alabama; her grandchildren, Alice "Ali" Eison, Lindsay Moon (Justin) and Payton Shephard; and her sister Beverly James of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
