He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Daugherty; his father Jerry Daugherty; his stepfather Allen Ellis; and his grandchildren, Lupin Roach, Kray Daugherty and Morgan Daugherty.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Daugherty of Indianapolis, IN and Danielle; his son-in-law Santos Delgado of Owensboro; his mother Sue Ellis of Beaver Dam; his siblings, Darren Porter (Belinda) of Walton, KY, Jeff Porter of Beaver Dam, Rodney Daugherty of Louisville and Cindy Sandefur (Robbie) of Horse Branch, KY; and his grandmother Rava Lindsey of Beaver Dam. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
