He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gibbons and Mary Hensley Gibbons; and his son Hardin Gibbons. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Mary Helton Gibbons; his children, Dallas Gibbons (Lisa), Garret Gibbons (Patricia), James Gibbons (Tina), Magdalene Farmer (Jimmy) and Margaret Sear (Dale); and his daughter-in-law Tammy Gibbons. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
