He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Gilbert and Zola Mae Morgan Gilbert; his uncle Beve Gilbert; and his nephews, Timothy Meadows and Brandon Maggard.
He is survived by: his children, Harold Smith (Samantha) of Manchester, KY and Jessica Thomas (Justin) of Corbin, KY; his grandchildren, Kylie Thomas, Rylie Thomas, Maggie Mae Thomas, Lyric Smith and Mia Smith; his sisters, Ruby Maggard Barrett of London, KY, Vanessa Gilbert (James Tamboer), Esther Gilbert of Manchester, KY and Maria Michelle Hensley (Rodney) of Lily, KY; and his close friends, Lawrence Whitaker, Dwayne Smith and Robert Napier. He is also survived by family, especially his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home (510 E 4th St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
