He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Baker and Shirley Caudill; his adoptive parents, Gladys Gibson, Richard and Ollia Gibson; and his brother Billy Joe Gibson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Roger Gibson of Oneida, KY, Elizabeth and Hattie.
