Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Peggy Jean Swartz of Olympia, Kentucky, born in Van Lear, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 86, on August 3, 2022. She was predeceased by: her husband Dan Swartz of Bath County; her parents, Harry McCarty and Pauline McCarty; and her siblings, Wanda Elmer and Gordon McCarty.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Swartz, Mike Swartz (Veda) of Olympia, KY, Tamie Cameron of Paris, KY, Mark Swartz (Colleen) of Winchester, KY and Chris Swartz (Aleda) of Lebanon, OH; and her sister Delores Lafferty of Inez, KY.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
One of the regrets I have had in the last years is that Covid interfered with visiting and another regret was that I was in Florida when Dan died and I did not know about his passing until the funeral was over.
