He was predeceased by: his father Roosevelt Swartz Sr.; and his siblings, Marvin Swartz, Roosevelt "Sonny" Swartz Jr., Donnie Swartz, Dan Swartz, Milton "Bud" Swartz, Richard Swartz, Sam Swartz, Bonnie Spencer, Emily Swartz and Margaret "Sissy" Armitage.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Swartz (Bobbi) of Olympia and Dana Swartz of Salt Lick; his brother Carroll Swartz; and his grandsons, Turner and Gabe Swartz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
