He is survived by: his brothers, Cleo Groves (Louise) of Nashville, Tennessee and James Groves (Paulette) of Nashville, Tennessee; his siblings-in-law, Anthony Bellamy of Indianapolis, George Bellamy of Russellville, Rose Page of Springfield, Elnora Gaines of Russellville, Audrey Johnson of Venice, Mildred Hart of Los Angeles and Tanya Lane of Chicago, Illinois.; his nephew Robert "Burger" Gaines; his cousin Dot Sydnor; and his friend Ural "Humpy" McGuire.
