It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Garland Toomey of Olmstead, Kentucky, who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Toomey, Sr. and Mildred Williams Toomey; his wife Dorothy Insco Toomey; and his siblings, Rosie Bell Wallace, Wilda Jean Pearson, JD Toomey, Raymond Toomey, Hobert McKinley Toomey, Jr., Harold Toomey and Jerry Toomey.

He is survived by: his daughter Janie Davis; and his brother Lindel Toomey of Greenville, KY..
