He was predeceased by: his parents, A. A. Shackelford and Gladys Randles Shackelford; his wife Mary Ellen Shackelford; and his siblings, Charles Shackelford, Ruby Steward, Margaret Proctor, Wanda Mason, Mildred Curtis and Betty Jean Shackelford.
He is survived by: his children, Timmy Shackelford (Susan), Toni Ellen Neal and Tammy Pedigo (Jeff); and his siblings, Johnny Shackelford (Debbie), Carolyn Coleman (Roger) and Dorothy Carter (Ray). He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren 20 Great Grandchildren 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
