He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvan Coy Alvis and Gertrude Harper Alvis. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Alvis1; his children, Daniel Alvis (Olmstead) and Toni Gambrel (London); and his grandchildren, Abigail Mew, Jonathan Gambrel, Madison Harper and Carlie Alvis.
