As Sammy departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sammy. Though Sammy may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Felty and Linnie Sexton Felty; and his siblings, Carl Felty, Timothy Felty and Wanda Felty.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Lynn Damron Felty; his children, Jeremy Brown (Stacey) of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Channing Richardson (Amy) of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Melissa Calhoun (Tim) of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; and his brother Roger Felty (Shelia) of Grayson. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services (49 McCoy Rd, Grayson, KY 41143). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
