It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronnie Edmon Thompson Sr. of Olive Hill, Kentucky, who passed away on October 31, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Estill Vernon Thompson and Anmary Burton Thompson; his daughter Paula Kay Hamilton Lyons; and his brothers, Vaughn, Ralph, Lester and Donald Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Clay Thompson; his children, Ronnie Thompson (Melissa) of Hillsboro, Angela Rose (Billy) of Ashland and Steven Thompson (Lynn) of Morehead; his grandchildren, Brandi Meek, Hunter Meek, Tyler Rose, Gavin Rose, Chase Thompson (Katie), Debbie Spencer (Adam), James Holbrook and Amanda Kay Mulvane; and his siblings, Darrell Thompson (Beverly) of Morehead, Eugene Thompson (Shelley) of Morehead, Claude Bradley (Jackie) of Olive Hill and Betty Butler of Morehead. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
