He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallice Whitely and Emmett Whitely; his son Larry Steven Whitely; his siblings, Wilma Cummings (Drexel), Laverne Wilson (Sonny), Mary Ford (Pill), Eva Farris (Lewis), Anna Keith (WH) and Clifford Whitely; and his great grandchild Ezra Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Faye Whitely; his children, Angie Vance (Bob) and Shawn Whitely; his daughter-in-law Dana Baggarly (Terry); his grandchildren, Brent Vance (Gwen), Lukas Whitely (Lainey), Logan Whitely (Shelby), Adam Vance, Rhett Baggarly (Morgan) and Logan Baggarly; his great grandchildren, Evie, Lane, Larson Whitely, Hudson, Hadlee Baggarly, Addi Jones and Izzy Thompson; and his sister Brenda Ford (Butch).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bevil Bros. Funeral Home (226 Louisville Rd, Beaver Dam, KY 42320). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
