It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Salyer Poe of Oil Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Salyer and Vertrice Salyer; her former husband Quenton Blanton; her husband Cecil Patrick; her former husband Charles Poe; her son William Michael "Bill" Blanton; and her siblings, Hershell Salyer, George Salyer, Berlin Salyer, Harvey Jr. Salyer, Shafter Salyer, Gladys Riggs, Allie Ward and Julia Ratliff.
She is survived by: her brother Prentice Salyer of Bellefontaine, Ohio; her grandchildren, Jaime Renee Blanton and Nicole Dawn Blanton; her great grandchildren, Aaron, Peyton, Cameron and Jaxon; her daughter-in-law Vanessa Penix Blanton of Georgetown; her nephew Freddy; her niece Karen Salyer; and her caregivers, Belinda Radcliff, Faye Jenkins, Misty Fields, Jill Whitaker, Beverly Haney and Virginia Perkins.
