He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert Lyvers and Cora Rachael Long Lyvers; his wife Linda Darlene Powell Lyvers; and his brothers, James Murrell Lyvers and Gerald Cobert Lyvers.

He is survived by: his children, William Jones of Oakland, KY, Jesse and Katie Lyvers Kennison (Adam) of Scottsville, KY; his sisters, Joyce Milner of Louisville, KY and Linda Hettinger of Shelbyville, KY; and his grandchildren, Aiden Cole Kennison, Scarlett Willow Kennison and Raven Elise Kennison.
