He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Earl and Nattie Boykin. He is survived by: his children, Amir Boykin of Texas and Remiyah Boykin of Oak Gove, KY; his parents, Jacquline Johnson of Garland and Jerry Boykin Sr. of Clinton; his siblings, Ashley Carter of Garland, Sydney, William A. Boykin of Garland, Brian Johnson of Cary and Cameron K. Johnson of Garland; and his great-grandparent Dorothy Crenshaw of Garland.
