He was predeceased by: his parents, JB Garrett and Ruby Garrett; and his sisters, Shirley Garrett and Marie Woods. He is survived by: his children, Scotty Garrett of Tennessee, Sylvia Nichols (Jay) of Nashville, TN and Tracey Garrett of Kentucky; and his siblings, JB Garrett, Jr. of Tennessee, Melissa Vaughn of Tennessee, Rose Garrett of Tennessee and Faye Garrett of Tennessee. He is also survived by his five grandchildren.
