He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Royal Dukes Harvey and Eugene Dukes; his brother Eugene Dukes, Jr.; and his stepfather Garland Harvey. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Chambers Dukes; his daughter Brianna Dukes of Madisonville; his siblings, John Dukes (Tammy) of Dawson Springs, KY and Chasity Oakley (David) of Madisonville; and his stepbrother David Harvey of White Plains, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
