He was predeceased by: his father Wiley Basham; and his brothers, Randall and Harold Basham. He is survived by: his wife Martha Whitfield Basham; his daughter Deborah Tapp (Roger) of Calhoun; his stepchildren, Christina Terry and Scott Goodaker; and his brothers, Jimmy Basham of Madisonville and Billy Basham (Linda) of Madisonville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Baptist Health Deaconess Hospice, 200 Clinic Dr., Madisonville, KY 42431.
