He was predeceased by: his former wife Catherine Payne; and his siblings, Connie Payne, Jodie Brooks, Daris, Ruford, Dennis and Donald Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Payne; his children, Kitty Himmelheber (David), Bill Bowley (Kathy), John Bowley (Vicky), Tom Bowley, Pete Payne (Sherry) and Randall Payne (Angie); and his siblings, Mentha Justice (Bobby), Sharron Adamson (Tommy), Delilah Groves, Sondra Poole (Wayne) and Gary Payne. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great, great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
