He was predeceased by: his mother Sharon Key Gilstrap; and his stepbrother Shane Sizemore. He is survived by: his son Michael Simmons (Rebekah); his father Art Simmons (Sue); his brother Jeffrey Simmons; and his nieces and nephews, Sydney Sizemore, Lilly Simmons, Gage Terry and Dustin Drake.
