It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Gilkey Sr. of Nortonville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 9, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewing and Helen Louise Gilkey, Sr. (Harrell) of Hopkinsville; his wife Vera Vernell Gilkey (Walker); his children, Laura Gilkey and James Gilkey, Jr.; and his siblings, Elizabeth Welch, Margie Shelton and Ewing Gilkey, Jr..
He is survived by: his son Phillip Gilkey (Phyllis) of Crofton; his grandchildren, Kara Morell (Kenny), Jessica Gibson (Steven) and David Gilkey (Melissa); and his great grandchildren, Nova Gilkey, Kolt and Kaliana Morell.
In response to Covid-19, wearing a mask is mandated and social distancing is required.
