He was predeceased by: his parents, Frankie Vandiver and Charlene Vandiver (Rodgers); and his brother Delbert Wayne Vandiver. He is survived by: his wife Claudette Snodgrass Vandiver; his children, Alan Vandiver, Timothy Vandiver and Julie Vandiver; and his sister Thelma Powell.
