He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Proffitt and Mabel Proffitt (Ford) of Nortonville; his wife Dolores June Proffitt (Crawford); and his siblings, Mary Gunn, James and Durwood Proffitt.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Vandiver (Randy) of Nortonville and David Proffitt (Sara) of Nortonville; his grandchildren, Amanda Hull (Derek) of Claremore, OK, Dustin Vandiver of Waterloo, IA, Joshua Vandiver (Miranda) of Independence, IA and Brian Vandiver of Nortonville; and his great grandchildren, Raelynn and Coleman Vandiver.
Attendees are mandated to wear a mask and social distancing is required. Anyone that has or has had a positive Covid-19 test or signs/symptoms in the past 14 days is requested to not attend.
