Ellen Marie Vandiver Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2023, at the age of 88, Ellen Marie Vandiver of Nortonville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Whitfield and Vannie Whitfield (Oglesby) of Nortonville; her husband Wesley "Timer" Vandiver; her siblings, Charles Henry Whitfield, Hayden Whitfield, Johnny Whitfield, Windell Vandiver, Anna B. Oglesby and Dottie Nance; and her great great grandchildren, Hattie Anne Vandiver and Selah Putman.
She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Vandiver (Laurie) of Madisonville and Jonathan Vandiver of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, Cameron Vandiver (Shannon) of Huntsville, AL, Shane Vandiver (Lisa) of Bowling Green, Misti Myers (Brett) of Okinawa, Austin Tarkington (Holly) of Hanson, Audra Putman (Monty) of Tyler, TX, Will Czalbowski (Sarah) of Cookeville, TN and Ben Ramsey (Tabitha) of Madisonville; her great grandchildren, Cody Vandiver, Bailey Vandiver, Ashtyn Vandiver, Cayden Vandiver, Brady Vandiver, Conner Myers, Emma Myers, Scarlett Marie Myers, Xena Myers, Jude Tarkington, Olivia Tarkington, Jonah Tarkington, Luke Putman, Addison Czalbowski, Harper Czalbowski, Josiah Petree, Gabe Petree, Riley Ramsey, Ally Ramsey and Kennedy Ramsey; her sisters-in-law, Althea Whitfield, Shirley Ramsey and June Cartwright; her caregiver Jaclyn Hafley (Joe); her daughters-in-law, Susan Ramsey and Nadine Leising; and her niece Karen Harrison. She is also survived by several cousins, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Fund in her memory.
