He was predeceased by: his parents, John Douglas and Joyce Hughlett (Whitfield); his wife Joyce Atkins Hughlett; his grandson Brandon Hughlett; and his brother David Hughlett.
He is survived by: his children, Anita Hughlett Powell of White Plains and James Hughlett of Nortonville; his sister Brenda Collins (Gary) of Nortonville; and his grandchildren, Greg Hughlett (Katie), Jamie Galbraith (Matthew), Lyssa Powell, Kylah Clark (Steven) and Andrew Hughlett (Stephanie). He is also survived by 3 step-grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
