She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Boynton Ladd and Vera Mae Croft Orten; her stepfather Lawson Ray Orten; and her son Dwight E. Brown, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Dwight E. Brown of Nortonville, KY; her children, William R. Brown of Crofton, KY and Maggie Brown Premer (Jeff) of Ft. Wayne, IN; her brothers, Michael Ray Creekmur of Nebo, KY and Johnny Lynn Orten of Crofton, KY; and her half-sister Patricia Ladd of Mesa, Arizona. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
