He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Jones and Lucy Guy Jones; and his siblings, Stella, Geneva, Billy, Bobby, Charles and Jay.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Taulbee Jones; his children, Johnnie Wayne Jones (Gail) of North Middletown, KY, Jennifer Ann Ramey (Anthony) of Paris, KY and James Lewis Jones, Jr. (Stacy) of Sharpsburg, KY; and his siblings, Mary, Alberta, Virgil and Rex. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
