He was predeceased by: his parents, Simmie Salyers and Ethel Tackett Salyers. He is survived by: his wife Anna Cantrell Salyers; his children, Shawn Salyers of Flat Gap, Kentucky, Glenda Salyers of Columbus and Shonda Napier of Miamisburg, Ohio; his sister Rita Cantrell of Staffordsville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Dawn Salyers, Breanna Cozart, Paige Cozart, Shawn Salyers, Jr., Jacob Salyers and Madison Salyers; and his stepgrandchildren, Abigail Napier and Garrett Napier. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
