It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Gene King of Nippa, Kentucky, born in Van Lear, Kentucky, who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna and Carl; and his siblings, Carl Ray, Patricia Harlene and Bonita.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Ann (Music); his children, David (Crystal) of Fort Worth Texas, Patricia Bowen (Loren) of Branford Florida, Jane Bolinsky (Joe) of Stow, MA and James (Mary); his grandchildren, Christopher, Ronald, David, Miranda, Sam and Grace; and his brothers, Jack, Paul and Darrell. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Harold will be deeply missed for many reasons including his devotion to his family, his music making, his contributions to the community, his wonderful storytelling and his love of a good healthy debate on all subjects- big and small.
