With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Yurii Khlus (Nicholasville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 54. Though Yurii has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ananiy Khlus and Madiya Khlus. He is survived by: his wife Halyna; his daughters, Olga Karnak Khova, Masha Chubauk, Serihii Chubauk and Illia Chubauk; and his grandchildren, Adenir, Sofia and Samuel.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home (207 W Oak St, Nicholasville, KY 40356). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (500 N Main St, Nicholasville, KY 40356). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
