He is survived by: his wife Genie Prewitt of Versailles; his son TJ Fottenbury (Stacie); his granddaughter Daniele Fottenbury (Landon); his great grandchild Nickolas Fottenbury (BooBoo); his siblings, Marvin Fottenbury (Kathy), Eileen Edmonds, Delores Hauserman, Roger Fottenbury and Kenny Fottenbury (Ruth); his stepson Anthony Dodson (Chassity); and his grandsons, Nathan, Matthew, Ethan and Eli.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Frankfort office of Bluegrass Hospice Care/ Bluegrass Care Navigators.
