It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Hammonds Welleford (Nicholasville, Kentucky), born in Whitesburg, Kentucky, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Hammonds and Edith Hammonds; and her husband Robert E. Welleford. She is survived by: her siblings, Dr. William Hammonds (Sherry), Ann Schneider, Gary Hammonds (Pam) and Mary Hammonds; her daughter Diane Ballard (Dan); her grandchildren, Robert Welleford (Katie), Andrew (Lauren), Nathan, Michael, Ryan Welleford, Rachel, Rebekah Ballard, Gregory Hunt (Kami) and Taylor Oldham; her sister-in-law Margaret Welleford of Richmond, VA; her nieces and nephews, Christy Douglas of Georgetown, KY, Brooke Hammonds Gault (Brett), Ayn Welleford (Jim), Bill Hammonds (Molly), Gary Webb (Amberly), Russell Hammonds and Burt (Yasko); her great-nieces, Claire and Kate Hammonds Charlotte; and also Denver Hunt. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
Due to Covid restrictions a Celebration of Sandra's Life will be held at a later date.
