She was predeceased by: her husband William Joseph Laney (Bill); her grandson James Derek Frazier; and her siblings, JD, Marion, Paul, Treffort, Donald, Bobby Jean Shewmaker and Barbara Evans.
She is survived by: her daughters, Benita Laney, Princess Teresa Walters (Mark), Kesha Frazier (George) and Serita Taylor (Scott); and her siblings, Kenneth Shewmaker (Bonnie), Jerry Shewmaker (Dayna) and Tommy Shewmaker. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
