It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Overstreet of Nicholasville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 26, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter-in-law Charlene "Herbie" Doolin. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Bunky" Overstreet; her grandchildren, Kim Doolin-Young, Doug Doolin (Tabitha Arnold) and Hannah Doolin; her great grandchildren, Dawson Doolin (Ashely), Hayden Doolin, Austin Young, Taysean Spillman, Zoe Doolin and Cassidy Stamper (Derrik); her great great grandchildren, Sawyer Doolin and Laine Doolin; her son Doug Doolin; and her sister-in-law Hazel Teater. She is also survived by many other friends and extended family.
According to CDC guidelines, we require masks be worn and social distancing be practiced in honor of the family and friends of Ruth.
The family requests donations be made in her memory to Jessamine County Schools Homeless Children Education Program, ℅ Jessamine County Central Office, 871 Wilmore Road, Nicholasville, KY 40356.
