He was predeceased by: his wife Stephanie Brown Bastin of Nicholasville; and his parents, Herbert Bastin of Nicholasville and Myrtle Bastin of Nicholasville. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Bastin (Rebekah) of Louisville and Katie Bastin Knight (J. D.) of Harrodsburg; and his granddaughter Ellie Mae Knight.
