It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard James Young Jr. (Nicholasville, Kentucky), born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard James Young and Doris Mae Fisher Hone. He is survived by: his wife Karin Young; his children, Erik Young of Lexington, KY, Stephanie Bates (Timothy) of Lawrenceburg, KY, Kristina McCracken (Randy) of Nicholasville, KY and Timothy Young of Versailles, KY; his grandchildren, Alex, Tyler, Croston McCracken, Gretchen Olivia, Colin and Monika Bates; and his siblings, Lawrence Young and Sarah Dean (Don) of Versailles, KY.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to Assembly of God missionary, Lisa Leliaert, who serves in a high risk country.
