He is survived by: his sister Linda Carl Hoskins (Jim); his daughters, Barbara "Barbie" Carl Abney (Gerald) and Naomi Carl James (Harry); his grandchildren, Angela Prigge, Matthew Abney, Jenni Haynes, Christopher Carl and Anthony Brown; and his stepgranddaughter Elisha Sanders. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
