He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Roe and Letha Roe (Bash); his wife Marilyn; his children, John Richard Roe and Marcia Ellen Russell; and his brothers, John Roe, Lowell Roe and Harold Roe.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie Fowble (Bob) of Nicholasville; his grandchildren, Brad Fowble, Lindsay Boersma (Mike), Collin Russell (Hannah), Kelsey Sauerwein (Tyler), Evan Roe and Meredith Roe; his stepgrandchildren, Rhonda Kreiner (Kris) and Rodney Fowble (Angela); his brother-in-law Ronald Lee (Celeste); and his nieces and nephews, Linda Bellman, Julie Nofziger, Beca Zaun, Kristin Thorne (Brent), Mark Horton, Troy Lee (Tara) and Ryan Lee (April). He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, several step great grandchildren and two step great great-grandchildren.
