We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2023, at the age of 78, Phyllis Jean Guffey of Nicholasville, Kentucky, born in Freeburn, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burl Layne and Thelma "Lambert" Layne; her sister Annette Cline; and her grandson Joshua Tyler Combs. She is survived by: her sons, Brian Guffey and Roy Combs Jr. (Leslie); her siblings, Ralph Layne, Jeffery Layne, Molly Blackburn, Sylvia Coleman, Glendella "Bootsie" Lee and Margaret Brizendine; and her great grandchild Aubrie Tyler Combs.
