He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jim and Kevin Carpenter. He is survived by: his spouse Marecha; his daughter Danielle Carpenter (Jeremy Whalen); his grandsons, Conrad and Jordan Whalen (Kim Corman); and his siblings, Sharon Carpenter, Dana Carpenter, Jack Carpenter (Misty) and Keith Carpenter (Queena).
