He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Gearheart and Eliza Gearheart; his siblings, Charles, Hobert Gearheart and Remantha Gearheart; and his brother-in-law Daniel Chinn.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Lois Gayheart (Freeman); his daughter Lynn Cooper (Stephen) of Louisville, KY; his granddaughter Kelsey Lynn Cooper of Louisville, KY; his siblings, Michael Gearheart (Patty) of Nashville, TN and Georgina Chinn of Russell, KY; and his sister-in-law Geneva Gearheart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or St. Judes Children Hospital.
