He is survived by: his son Michael Oliver Atkerson, Jr. (Erin Robinson) of Corbin, KY; his grandchildren, Alayla Atkerson, Aiden Atkerson, Abel Atkerson, Branson Thomas and Camden Thomas; his brother Ken Atkerson (Amy) of Lexington, KY; and his brother-in-law Donnie Williams, Sr. of Lancaster, KY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
