With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Dale McDonald of Nicholasville, Kentucky, born in Frankfort, Kentucky, who passed away on January 13, 2022 at the age of 41. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Michael McDonald II of Pennsylvania, Ellie McDonald of Pennsylvania and Aiden McDonald of Frankfort; his parents, Donna Smith of Frankfort and Dennis Cowart of Somerset; and his sisters, Michelle Helil of Frankfort and Maryna Smith of Frankfort.

The family requests that all donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
