He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Hardin Smith; his parents, Lorenzo B. Smith and Pearl Barker Smith; his son Kenneth B.; and his siblings, Mary Raiser, Thelma Devers, Florence Dykes, Floyd Smith and Clarence Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Daryl (Lucia), San Sebastiano, Tim (Deborah) of Cocoa, FL, Tony (Susan) and Steven; and his grandchildren, Rome Ames, Alex Smith of Richlands, NC, Jessica Canuto (Frederico), Milan, Sameria Poston of Cocoa, FL, Damon Combs, Kymberli Smith and Shacody Smith. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
