He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert "Tug" Lowry and Mamie Puckett Lowry; his daughter Karen Lowry Thomas; his grandson Houston Wallace; and his siblings, Ray, Coleman Lowry, Dorothy Godbey and Mary Jean Ritchie.
He is survived by: his wife Ann P. Lowry; his daughter Kim Lowry Wallace (Travis); his grandchildren, Ashlynn Kimble, Alex Tranter, Grayson Lee (Eric), Chase Tranter, Chancey Wallace, Kennedy Tranter and Reece Wallace; his great grandchildren, Cash and Carson Kimble; and his siblings, John Robert Lowry (Linda), Eva Lowry McDaniel (James) and Ann Bedson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
